When a student comes to Oxford Learning Source, we begin with a series of tests to pinpoint their individual strengths and weaknesses. With these results, we tailor a learning program to address each need. Our individual instruction can then show significant results in a short time.
The secret to our success? We create a fun learning environment filled with praise and encouragement. Often a student's lack of confidence is their number one obstacle, so we provide lots of verbal feedback and positive reinforcement. As skills improve, students can see their progress and can then take personal pride in their accomplishments. That is the key to continued progress.
Our Teachers Make The Difference
Oxford Learning Source is accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges and by the Utah State Board of Education. Our accreditation illustrates our high level of exterptise, and allows us to offer high school credits.
But it is our teachers who make the difference. Each teacher is fully certified by the State of Utah, and receives further training at Oxford. We seek those teachers who utilize positive reinforcement and who are enthusiastic about teaching.
Building Self Esteem
Everyone inherently wants to succeed; but in school it's often difficult to do it alone. Whether the cause is poor study habits or the lack of individualized help, many kids struggle just to keep up.
That's where Oxford Learning Souce can really help. We are an accredited learning center offereing individualized instruction in: Math, Reading, Algebra, Geometry, English, Writing, ACT/SAT Preparation, and Study Skills. Beyond improving grades, our goal is to help your child experience success in school. Our neighborhood learning centers present a warm learning environment, stressing positive reinforcement and genuine caring.
